Ponyara Preschool is a Non-Profit Community Based organisation where all profits made are put back into the Centre for the education and care of the children. Ponyara Preschool is supported through various government subsidies, fees, parent contributions and donations.
Ponyara Preschool is managed by a Parent Management Committee who has the overall responsibility for the Centre under the licence granted by the NSW Department of Education (including legal requirements, employment of staff and financial operations). The Committee is comprised of the “Executive” (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer), who together are the “Licensee” of the Centre and the Social Committee who are led by the Social Secretary.
The Committee is guided in its work by the NSW Department of Education Department Regulations, Education and Care Services National Law and The National Quality Framework along with the Centre Policies and Procedures.
